if there’s anything you think i should add or clarify don’t be afraid to drop it in the comments

This part of the guide is going to go over the essentials and nothing else, just how things work and what progression looks like.

When you start the game you’ll be given a prompt to choose a worker. If you’re worried about spending a lot of time here, you don’t have to. You can change all of this (including the name of your save file) easily and for free at any time later.

I’d recommend you start with the in-game tutorial before reading any of this, Only come back if you have issues. (This section also touches on holidays & seasons.)

— The Freezeria —

Your sundae shop is split into 4 rooms. The order station, (sometimes called the lobby) the building station, the mixing station, and the topping station.

The order station is where you take orders from customers. After walking up to the counter, calling on the phone, or sitting down at a table customers will tell you what kind of sundae they want and your chef will write it down for you on an order ticket. The tickets for orders that you haven’t sent out yet will hang out on the gray line at the top of the screen where you can drag them around and organize them. The orders will stay on screen no matter which station you’re at. You can drag individual tickets off to the hook on the right to bring them closer if you have trouble reading them far away.

The building station is where you start making your sundaes. You choose cup size, mix-ins, and flavor. Each time you move on to the next step in this station a meter will show up in the middle of the screen and a small marker will move left and right. Hit the button below the meter when the marker is in the center to dispense ingredients. The meter starts out quickly and slows over time, but the only thing that changes when you press it while it’s still fast is a small sum of bonus cash.

The mixing station is where you blend your sundaes to the right consistency. The moment you put a sundae on the blender it will start mixing. The only way to stop the blender is to take out the sundae. Above each of the 4 blenders there is a meter. The marker will slowly move from the left side as the sundae gets mixed. There are three lines on the meter at different points in the blending process, representing chunky, regular, and smooth. these are the three options customers will choose from when ordering a sundae.

The topping station is where you finish the sundaes. Click and drag what topping the ticket asks for towards the sundae. As soon as you let go of your mouse button the ingredient will start dispensing. Move your mouse back and forth to put the ingredient on top of the sundae evenly. If the order ticket calls for placeable toppings, set the toppings in the pattern on the ticket. Left, right and center in the whipped cream.

— Holidays —

As time passes in the freezeria, different seasons and holidays will come and go.
Seasons don’t really matter, but holidays change gameplay.

If you decorate your freezeria and staff with things that match the season, you’ll get extra points in the service category when you serve sundaes. That said, it doesn’t detract from your score if you don’t, so don’t worry about it too much. If you keep your ducks in a row and stay organized you shouldn’t have trouble with that category anyway. If you need help figuring out what to decorate with, There is a small icon in the bottom right of every item telling you what holiday it is most appropriate for. To see what holiday you are in currently, check the stats menu. (the star)

In brief, If you find yourself running short on time stuff your freezeria lobby with as much seasonal garbage as you can find so customers have something to do while they wait.

Holidays also bring limited-time ingredients, so sometimes customers might come in ordering something you don’t recognize. Don’t worry though, they’ll only order things you have.

If you are still having trouble with orders after the tutorial, this section will walk you through making an order from start to finish, explaining all the parts of the order ticket.

At the end of this section is also a video with no commentary, in case you need it.

Once you begin taking a customer’s order, you’ll see a screen like this.
The customer will read out their order, and your chef will write it down for you. There’s no need to memorize anything, you can look at the order ticket while making the sundae.

Once they finish their order, it’s time for you to start making it! To begin making the sundae, click the purple cup button on the bottom of your screen to go to the building station.

First, choose the cup size. This is represented by a letter in the bottom left corner of the ticket.
Second, choose the mix-in. This is represented by a symbol in a square on the bottom half of the ticket.
Third, choose the flavor syrup. This is represented by a symbol in a circle on the bottom half of the ticket.

In our example order, the cup size is small, the mix-in is s’mores, and the flavor is neapolitan.

#17 – Make ‘Em Wait
Serve the first customer last.

Set aside your first order ticket of the day and only prepare the sundae once the freezeria closes and everyone else is served. Low waiting score is unavoidable.

#18 – Hot and Ready
Have Quinn’s order ready when she arrives and serve immediately.

There are a few ways to to this, I waited until she arrived and just made her order before I took her ticket. (don’t touch it after taking her ticket.) You can check her order by looking her up in the customer glossary. If you want to make her order before she ever walks in to preserve your waiting score, Quinn comes in on thursdays.

#19 – Kahuna on the Move
Have Kahuna’s order ready when he arrives and serve immediately.

There are a few ways to to this, I waited until he arrived and just made his order before I took his ticket. (don’t touch it after taking his ticket.) You can check his order by looking him up in the customer glossary. If you want to make his order before he ever walks in to preserve your waiting score, Kahuna comes in on mondays.

#20 – Bronze Beginning
Earn 5 Bronze Customer Awards.

If a repeat customer likes your service enough, they will get a bronze customer award. Achieve this with five different customers.

#21 – Repeat Customers
Earn 15 Bronze Customer Awards.

If a repeat customer likes your service enough, they will get a bronze customer award. Achieve this with fifteen different customers.

#22 – Silver Medal
Earn 10 Silver Customer Awards.

If a repeat customer likes your service enough, they will get a silver customer award. Achieve this with ten different customers.

#23 – Restaurant Regulars
Earn 15 Gold Customer Awards.

If a repeat customer likes your service enough, they will get a gold customer award. Achieve this with ten different customers.

#24 – Order Expert
Get a 100% Waiting Score on 20 orders.

If you’re having trouble, make sure to fill your freezeria with stuff so customers have things to do while they wait. Remember that it’s better to focus on one or two orders than all of them at once. Don’t leave your almost-finished sundaes on the topping station for too long while tending to others.

#25 – Build Expert
Get a 100% Build Score on 20 orders.

If you’re having trouble, don’t go quickly. The longer you wait, the slower the meter gets. The important part is getting it in the green, so it’s ok to take it slow.

#26 – Mixing Expert
Get a 100% Mix Score on 20 orders.

If you’re having trouble, make sure you have the mixing timers from the upgrade shop. Try to get in the habit of checking on your mixing station before doing something lengthy, like taking orders. Getting a mix speed booster on at least one mixer doesn’t hurt, either. You can always swap sundaes between mixers.

#27 – Topping Expert
Get a 100% Topping Score on 20 orders.

If you’re having trouble, remember to put your large toppings on the left, right, and center the way the order ticket describes. With smaller toppings, try focusing on keeping the speed at which you move your mouse back and forth consistent rather than trying to get a more even dispersal of topping.

#28 – Perfect!
Get a Perfect Score on 30 orders.

Get a 100% waiting, building, mixing, and topping score on 30 sundaes.

#29 – Award Winning Restaurant
Get 5 Blue Ribbons from Jojo the Food Critic.

Every sunday the food critic will order a sundae. Make it well, and he will give you a blue ribbon that hangs in your shop for 3 days. Get a blue ribbon five times.

#30 – Month’s Pay
Receive your wages on four Pay Days.

Play as usual until you reach the end of the week 4 times.

#31 – Piggy Bank
Don’t spend any money in the Shop for 7 days.

This one can be finicky, so just pick a day to stop spending money until you get the achievement. Don’t count days.

#32 – One-Stop Shopping
Buy any 50 items from the Shop.

Purchase 50 items from any part of the shop, including upgrades. (I could be wrong, but I don’t think this includes duplicates. the same clothing item in different colors does count though.)

#33 – Advertiser
Buy any 8 Posters from the Shop.

Purchase 8 posters from the shop, excluding windows. (I also dont think this includes duplicates.)

#34 – Interior Decorator
Buy any 8 Furniture items from the Shop.

Purchase any 8 items from the furniture shop. (I also dont think this includes duplicates.)

#35 – Updated Wardrobe
Buy any 8 Clothing items from the Shop.

Purchase any 8 items from the clothing shop. (Includes duplicates with different colors.)

#36 – New Coat of Paint
Buy any 4 Flooring or Wallpaper from the Shop.

Purchase 4 of either flooring or wallpaper from the shop.

#37 – Upgrade Master
Buy all of the Upgrades in the Shop.

Purchase every upgrade in the upgrade shop. (and the coupon, the renewable “upgrade”, at least once.)

#38 – New Threads
Change your worker’s shirt, pants, hat, jacket, and shoes.

Buy or win a new hat, jacket, shirt, pants, and shoes and put them all on one of your employees.

#39 – Romano Family
Serve everyone in the Romano Family Quartet.

Play as usual until all 4 members of the Romano family quartet (Carlo, Gino, Bruna, and Edoardo) visit your freezeria.

#40 – Scarlett and the Shakers
Serve all the band members of Scarlett and the Shakers.

Play as usual until all 4 members of the ska-punk band “Scarlett and the Shakers” (Scarlett, Marty, Clover, and Rudy) visit your freezeria.

#41 – The Gang’s All Here
Serve all of the customers!

Play as usual until all 143 customers in the glossary visit your freezeria.

#42 – Costumed Closers
Serve all of the Costumed Closers during Halloween.

If you don’t manually change any of the closer’s outfits, they swap to their halloween costumes during the holiday. Make sure they have their costumes on and serve them as usual.

#43 – Game Show Contestant
Earn a Prize in each of Foodini’s Mini-Games

Complete a single level of every one of Foodini’s minigames.

#44 – Grand Prize Winner
Earn 5 Prizes or more in each of Foodini’s Mini-Games.

Complete at least 5 levels in every one of Foodini’s minigames.

#45 – Rare Reward
Win a Rare Bonus Prize in a Mini-Game by earning a Star Medal.

Win a star medal in any of Foodini’s minigames.

#46 – Special Collector
Earn 5 Special Recipes from customers.

Serve 5 golden envelope customers well enough that they give you the recipe inside.

#47 – Recipe Collection
Earn 15 Special Recipes from customers.

Serve 15 golden envelope customers well enough that they give you the recipe inside.

#48 – Complete Cookbook
Earn 40 Special Recipes from customers.

Earn 3 Special Stars when serving Today’s Special.

Serve your special well 3 times in one day, and get 3 stars on that special for doing so. Using the special board to advertise your special will help a lot. (make sure you have it out once you buy it! Check under your special in the specials menu.)

#50 – Recipe Master
Master a Special Recipe by earning 5 Special Stars.

Serve your special well 5 times to earn 5 stars on that special and master it.

#51 – Super Special
Master 10 Special Recipes by earning 5 Stars on each.

If you serve your special well 5 times you earn 5 stars on that special and master it. Master 10 separate specials.

#52 – Cookbook Mastery
Master 20 Special Recipes by earning 5 Stars on each.

If you serve your special well 5 times you earn 5 stars on that special and master it. Master 20 separate specials.

#53 – Mixable Master
Unlock all of the Standard Mixables.

Play as usual until you unlock all of the standard mix-ins.

#54 – Syrup Sampler
Unlock all of the Standard Mix Syrups.

Kit out your chef and driver in outfits with full holiday spirit and get to serving! The easiest way to find holiday clothing is to click a clothing category and then sort by the current holiday with the button in the bottom left.

Buy a christmas hat and fur parka in any colors from the clothing shop and serve 20 customers during christmas while your chef and driver are wearing them.

#78 – Wrong Restaurant

Buy a pizzeria cap and pizzeria polo in any colors from the clothing shop and serve Roy while your chef and driver are wearing them.

#79 – Everyone’s a Critic
Serve Jojo while wearing a Turtleneck and Beret.

Buy a beret and turtleneck in any colors from the clothing shop and serve the food critic while your chef is wearing them. (don’t use the striped beret.)

#80 – Holiday Outfit
Wear a shirt, belt, jacket, pants, hat, and shoes to match the current holiday.

As long as the clothing doesn’t have other associations, (like the clovers on the St. Patrick’s Day clothing) you can get any hat, jacket, shirt, belt, pants, and shoes in the colors of the holiday and dress your chef in them to get this achievement. The easiest way to find holiday clothing is to click a clothing category and then sort by the current holiday with the button in the bottom left.

#81 – Color Coordinated
Dress your Chef and Driver in the exact same outfit but with different colors.

Acquire an identical outfit for your chef and driver, but have them wear it in different colors. [IMAGE]

#82 – Bubblegum Bonanza
Have 10 different kinds of bubble gum in the lobby at once.

Acquire 10 different types of gumball machines and put them all in your freezeria at once. They aren’t available all at once, so you may have to wait to get this achievement.

#83 – Dance Party
Use lots of musical furniture so 3 or more customers are dancing in the lobby.

Put multiple pieces of musical furniture, like the jukebox, gala stereo, and festive phonograph in your freezeria to get customers to dance while they wait. To speed this up remove other distractions in your lobby like gum or arcade cabinets and wait a bit longer to serve customers who’s tickets you’ve already taken.

#84 – Loose Change
Grab 250 coins while playing Papa’s Raceway.

Pick up 250 coins in total from playing papa’s raceway.

#85 – Coupon Clipper
Send 10 Customer Coupons to your customers.

Buy the customer coupon 10 times from the upgrade shop and use them by opening a customer profile and clicking on the envelope to the right. Use customer coupons before opening for business, because otherwise it will take effect the next day. You can only use 1 customer coupon per day.

#86 – Blend ’til the End
Leave four sundaes on blenders at the end of the day.

When your last order of the day is sitting at the topping station, take a moment to build 4 sundaes of any type and put all 4 on blenders at the mixing station and leave them there while you serve your last customer.

#87 – Special Delivery
Serve 20 delivery orders to customers.

Play as usual until you serve a total of 20 customers via delivery.

#88 – Dining In
Serve 30 orders to customers in the Dining Room

Play as usual until you serve a total of 30 customers via the dining room.

#89 – Ice Cream Truck

There’s a chance that if you prepare a freezeria customer’s regular order at the food truck they might visit to pick it up. Have a freezeria customer visit the food truck 3 times.
